• Just a reminder that we have passes for Vermont State Parks and State Historic Sites, giving patrons free entry (up to 8 people per vehicle)! The passes can be checked out like a book, and can be kept for two days. We also have a library membership card for the Shelburne Museum that you can check out. Present the card with your library card and get 1/2 off the admission price for two adults and up to four accompanying children. For more information on the museum, you can click here. We also have a Library Discount Pass for the Echo Center in Burlington, which allows for a $7 admission fee per person for up to four people. The Echo Center website can be found here. In addition, the library has a pass to the Birds of Vermont Museum in Huntington, which is good for one free admission with one paid admission.
• If you’re someone who enjoys eBooks and audiobooks, be sure to try the Palace app! Just like with Libby, you’ll have access to Overdrive, but there are lots more options as well–the Palace Project offers eBooks and audiobooks from more than 1,000 publishers, including titles from Amazon Publishing, Hachette, Harper Collins, Macmillan, and Simon and Schuster, as well as hundreds of mid-sized and independent publishers. The app is available for use on all IOS and Android devices–just download and install it, then sign in with your library card number and PIN, as you do with Libby.
