As of July 20th, 2020, the Haston Library will be reopening and offering regular hours and services, with some restrictions, in accordance with directives issued by the State of Vermont and the Vermont Department of Libraries.
- Occupancy will be limited to four patrons at a time, or one family group.
- Patrons are required to wear masks and practice social distancing while in the library. Hand sanitizer and wipes will be provided, and patrons will be encouraged to make use of them.
- Patrons will be asked to limit their time in the library to 30 minutes per visit, with an additional 30 minutes allowed if using a computer.
- “Curbside pickup” will still be available, for those patrons who only wish to order materials and pick them up at the front of the library.
- The library will continue to offer some online programming, such as storytimes, and in-person programming may be offered at some point in the near future, in a limited capacity, depending upon the trajectory of the coronavirus pandemic.
